The eligibility criteria that are common to the undergraduate programmes offered by NSU are enumerated below:
- In order to be eligible for admission to any of the undergraduate programmes of three years or four years duration, the candidate must have a pass in Higher Secondary (10 + 2 scheme of examination or any other equivalent examination recognised by the University).
- The age of the candidate shall be above 17 years. However, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor may relax the minimum age criterion at his/her discretion.
- Admission shall be offered based purely on merit, i.e., based on the marks obtained in the Admission Test (Written Test, Sports Proficiency Test, and Physical Fitness Test), the marks scored by the candidate in the Qualifying Examination, or any other process as per the policy of the University, with due weightage for the Physical Fitness Test.
